When Lindsay McLoughlin, of Proofed by Linds, and I organized a Christmas curry for the Henley Women of Inspiration group last December, little did we know how well received it would be and how many people would be asking for more. MORE? Well yes of course we can do more!
So came the birth of 'Linds and Kran’s Business Curries'. The formula was simple: charming venues, in-depth presentations, great networking and wonderful curries!
It was an absolute pleasure and privilege to be able to run our Business Curries at the beautiful Stanlake Park Wine Estate in Twyford and the glorious Sue Ryder Hospice in Nettlebed. Both venues were incredibly helpful and welcoming to Lindsay and I, and also to our business guests from the surrounding areas.
So who was going to help with the business development training? Grainne Ridge of The Business Fit Club readily accepted our invitation and excelled in the delivery of the key business topics selected for our April events.
The 21st April arrived and we couldn’t have asked for more perfect weather for our opening event! The barn at the Stanlake Park Wine Estate opened out into a picturesque courtyard bustling with local business people mingling and dining. Guests also had the opportunity to visit the wine shop for some wine tasting!
‘Unlike many networking groups Lindsay and Kran have got the formula just right – an informal atmosphere, just the right ‘bitesize’ presentation, followed by the chance to network over a delicious lunch of home-made curry.’
‘Great training. Wonderful food. Connections not just for great business but for lasting friendships that emotionally change and enhance your business and personal life. One of the very best networking/training events I have ever attended and perfect for foodies.’
I love the fact that a few small businesses can work together to deliver such an enjoyable and productive event based on a common love of food..
